Running Stuck in Time is a browser game on how to attain residency/refuge/asylum in the Netherlands.
The game aims to focus specifically on the countless bureaucratic obstacles, time-constraints and everlasting decision-making periods of emigration processes. Through different levels that players need to pass in order to stay in this country, it will offer a glimpse of how migration feels for nonimmigrants (or NonEU) while providing a witness for those who have been/going through migration. The prototypes for the levels are currently in the making.
An example of the levels is a dropbox that keeps running away from the cursor as you try to upload your passport. It is frustrating and relatable.
